"All my life I’ve been awestruck by the beauty and grandeur of the world around us. From the tiniest ice crystal on an autumn leaf to the majestic power of a thundering waterfall.

These have all brought peace and stability into a world that often seems chaotic. It is my greatest privilege and honour to be able to share this beauty with other people through my art. I hope that if only for a few moments that I can give back some of the peace and strength I’ve been able to attain from this wonderful natural world of ours."

Connie Roberts was born and raised in North Central Alberta. Whether hiking or gardening, her camera is never far from reach, making it easy to use her own reference material. Her medium is acrylic due mainly to it’s fast drying time, which allows her to do many layers of glazing. She is a basically self taught artist. She and her husband, Martin, live on a cattle ranch with their two dogs and four cats.
