The stallion stood alert as a warm breeze ruffled his mane. He grazed at the peak of a steep canyon that had been carved from the valley after hundreds of years of weather. The rugged valley belonged to him, he'd left his print all along the wind blown rock. With a toss of mane and a strong neigh, the herd would follow his lead and his courage in a move that would come to define the spirit of the west.
